Balls! contains two games to test and improve your short term memory.

In the numbergame you get to see a number of balls, each one having a unique number. After a while the numbers on the balls disappear. Then try tapping the balls in the right order (low to high).

In the symbolgame you have to remember the symbols that are displayed on the balls. The game then hides the symbols and asks you for the symbols that were displayed. Tap the correct ball if you remember the symbol. It may also ask for a symbol that wasn't on one of the balls. If you think that the symbol wasn't on one of the balls then tap on the red cross, this will earn you extra points if you were right.

It may seem easy at first, but soon the number of balls to remember increases and you really need a good short-term memory. After you have played the game a number of times you will notice that you get better and better at it.

At the start of the game you get 3 lives. After you tap an incorrect ball you loose a life, unless you have one or more lifesavers, which you can earn by completing levels. If you have no more lives left the game ends and you can see how many points you've scored.

For every ball you tapped correctly you score a point, but if you tapp an incorrect ball points are subtracted from your score for the number of balls that were left (unless you get recued by the lifesavers you collected).
